The basic idea of in-tray exercises is to place you in a realistic work situation and to assess your behaviour and attitudes. You'll be asked to imagine that you're acting in the role you have applied for and to work through the contents of.. As a part of an In-Tray exercise, you would be given a task to clear your In-Tray tasks within a stipulated time frame. The time frame may range from 30 Minutes to about an hour.
