The Opticon 2s measure alot flatter on axis and comparing the new MK2 version, the curve on the new version is much more variable. If you shoot for a flatter response, I would stick with the Opticon 2 especially if you like the speaker in spite of wanting more highs. Even with a slightly larger tweeter, the drop off in highs seem more.
