About us. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the Cat Rescue Network is a group of volunteers working to rescue stray and abandoned cats. The Cat Rescue Network's motto is "until there is none, save one.". We live out this motto by responding to emergencies and taking cats off the street. We do not have a facility; all the cats we rescue live with.. About Us. Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue (OSCatR) is a non-profit charitable organization (NO. 83641 4573 RR0001) that is 100% volunteer run dedicated to getting adoptable cats off the streets and into homes in and around the National Capital Region, as well as managing feral cat colonies in this area. Every effort is made to adopt cats into indoor.
